Brenda Steadham
Brenda serves as a Pre-K 3 teacher and has been part of Faith MMO for eight years. She holds a Master’s degree in Biological Science and Biochemistry from Clemson University and spent much of her career working in the science field, including radiochemistry, immunology research, and writing online lesson plans. Her transition into the classroom was a natural one, and she brings a unique perspective as she weaves curiosity and discovery into everyday learning experiences.

Brenda loves the endless curiosity of young children, especially their thoughtful questions of “why?” and “how?” She values the deep sense of community among the teachers at Faith MMO, where relationships are built on encouragement, laughter, and genuine care. In her classroom, Brenda’s hope is that every child feels deeply loved and understands that they are God’s precious creation.

Outside of MMO, Brenda is an avid backpacker and hiker who enjoys spending time in nature. She loves reading historical books and learning to play different musical instruments. One of her favorite children’s books is The One O’clock Miracle. Brenda enjoys salt and vinegar potato chips, an iced London Fog tea from Starbucks, and relaxing in her hammock with a good book. Fun fact: despite her best efforts, she cannot hula hoop!
