ABOUT FAITH MMO
A Place to Grow, Learn, and Be Loved
Faith Mother’s Morning Out is a faith-based preschool and childcare program in Watkinsville, GA, designed for children from newborn through Pre-K. For over 26 years, our program has served families in our community by providing a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment where children can grow spiritually, emotionally, and academically.
We understand that these early years are so important—and we consider it a privilege to partner with parents during this season. Our two-day program offers a meaningful balance: giving moms a trusted break while providing children with engaging, purposeful time filled with learning, play, and connection.
More Than Childcare—A Partnership with Families
While we meet just two days a week, our goal is to make a lasting impact. At Faith MMO, we come alongside families to help nurture each child’s development through:
Faith-based teaching and weekly chapel
Play-based, hands-on learning experiences
Social and emotional growth through guided interaction
Early academic foundations to prepare for the next steps beyond preschool
Every moment is intentional—helping children build confidence, form friendships, and feel secure in a loving environment.
Our Classrooms, Learning Approach & Enrichment
At Faith Mother’s Morning Out, we thoughtfully create an environment where children feel safe, engaged, and excited to learn. With seven classrooms serving children from newborn through Pre-K, each class is led by two dedicated teachers who work together to provide a consistent, nurturing experience.
Our days are intentionally designed to blend structured activities with play-based learning. Children participate in story time, table activities, crafts, free play, and outdoor play, while our older classes rotate through small group centers that support both academic and social growth.
A unique part of our program is our full-time floating teacher, who works with children in small groups to guide age-appropriate centers. These moments are focused on building cooperation, strengthening fine motor skills, encouraging problem-solving, and helping children learn important social skills like sharing and taking turns. This approach allows us to meet each child where they are while helping them grow in confidence and independence.
Each week also includes enriching experiences that bring even more joy and meaning to their time with us. Children attend chapel led by pastors from our church, where they are introduced to Bible stories, prayer, and foundational truths of faith. Our bi-weekly art classes with Ms. Erin give children the opportunity to explore creativity through hands-on projects, while monthly music time with Dr. Katie Anthony brings energy, rhythm, and fun into the classroom.
We also love connecting learning to the world around us by inviting our community into the classroom. Throughout the year, children enjoy special visits from local partners such as the Oconee County Fire Department during Fire Safety Week, dental health professionals who teach about hygiene, and other engaging guests during seasonal and themed learning experiences.
Together, these elements create a well-rounded program that supports each child’s spiritual, emotional, and academic development in a joyful and engaging way.
