Kate Hankins
Kate serves as a Pre-K 3 co-teacher and is excited to step into this role after serving as a substitute teacher for two years. Her connection to Faith MMO began as a parent—her three children attended the program from 2017 to 2024. Kate graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Education and taught Kindergarten and First Grade in Bulloch County for several years before staying home with her children.

Kate loves watching children explore their world, solve problems, and build relationships with their peers. She feels deeply blessed to serve in a ministry at her home church and shares that teaching at Faith MMO has strengthened her own walk with God. In the classroom, her heart is for every child to feel safe, loved, and truly cared for.

Kate grew up in South Georgia, where she met her husband, Jay, and they were married in 2012. They have three children—Clay, William, and Elizabeth—and moved to Watkinsville in 2017. As a family, they enjoy time with extended family and trips to the beach. Kate’s favorite children’s book is Charlotte’s Web, a story she has loved reading aloud for years. She enjoys snacks like Skinny Pop and beef sticks, a latte or sparkling water, and shopping at Target. Fun fact: although she’s not a vegetarian, she has never ordered steak at a restaurant!
