Lesia Phillips
Lesia serves as a Pre-K 2 teacher, working with younger three-year-olds, and has been part of Faith MMO for 27 years. She holds an associate degree in Business and previously worked in banking for 12 years before becoming a full-time mom and eventually joining MMO. Lesia loves teaching children about Jesus, guiding them through crafts, and watching them form friendships and grow in independence.

Lesia treasures the relationships she has built with her fellow teachers, calling them not just coworkers, but dear friends. In her classroom, she hopes every child feels safe and deeply loved, while also learning to become more independent and confident—always knowing their parents will return. Outside of MMO, Lesia is a proud mom and “Gigi” to three grandsons, all of whom attend MMO. She enjoys traveling, dining out with her family, and spending time at the beach. Lesia loves sweet treats like Reese’s Pieces and Almond Joy, enjoys a variety of coffee flavors (especially caramel), and can often be found at T.J. Maxx or Starbucks. One of her favorite moments is hearing children belt out songs—sometimes even the National Anthem!
